Our institution was born in 1977 with the aspiration of being one of the best nightclubs in the country and achieving its respective recognitions, a goal that we have achieved over the years and with the approval of our clients and friends, which is why we daily We strive to maintain excellent service in our facilities, the monthly presentation of artists of national and international stature, the presentation of spectacular events, the permanent acquisition of state-of-the-art technology for the presentation of our shows, as well as the investment in the creation of a large family that has around 6,500 permanent clients according to our database in the two locations (Cartagena and Santa Marta) and in these 24 years of work, a reception of both national and international visitors of no less than four million people according to our sales record.
The Santa Marta Breakwater had its origin in the English film The Mission, shot in Santa Marta (Tayrona Park, Don Diego River basin), Roberto Lemaitre, then a partner of the Cartagena Breakwater, worked in film production as one of those responsible for create the setting for the colonial mission of Santa Ana (Chaco region, Bolivia), set on fire by the Portuguese, rescuing some structures and raising them in the Rodadero converted into the new Escollera in 1986. Since then this has been the center of the best events and rumbas of Santa Marta.
