Administratively, the Museum of Modern Art of Cartagena is a mixed corporation dedicated to conserving and disseminating the various manifestations of the visual arts and educating the community for its full appreciation.
The Museum of Modern Art of Cartagena de Indias has an art collection that began with a donation from the OAS, on Latin American painting from the 50's, which has been expanding and is permanently exhibited in Room 1. It also includes in its programming individual and collective exhibitions and a continuous program of support activities.
Temporary exhibitions, conferences, projections in 16 mm. and videos and audiovisuals, advice to art collections, extension courses, marquetry and restoration of works of art.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am. to 12:00 p.m. 3:00 pm. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
