The Santacruz Zoo Foundation is a non-profit entity created in July 2001 with the aim of conserving Andean species in danger of extinction, Investigar, to contribute to the conservation of wildlife.

It has 136 species of mammals, 144 birds and 35 reptiles with 85% wild species and 15% exotic species. It is currently in the remodeling phase to guarantee the welfare of the captive specimens.
